Cheap Drivers Ed Course Information
CheapDriversEd lessons are arranged in a progressive manner, that establishes a foundation of basic licensing knowledge, before moving onto the aspects of vehicle code laws, vehicular control and operator responsibilities. You must work your way through the lessons progressively; that is, you may not jump ahead of the next lesson to facilitate your interest in a different lesson. When you have completed reading the information contained in a lesson, you may then take the quiz for that lesson. If you successfully pass that quiz, you may then proceed onto the following lesson. Once a quiz is passed, you will not be able to go back to a previously completed lesson.
If you do not pass a quiz, you may re-read the section pertaining to it and then re-take the quiz. You may do this as many times as necessary to pass the quiz. When you have completed all 36 lessons, you may then take the final exam. If you do not pass the final exam, you may re-take it as many times as necessary as well. The minimum score necessary to pass both the quizzes and the final exam is 80%.
With that said, the best advice we can offer, is to use the time to your advantage. Take your time reading the information. If you are not clear on something, read it again. If you would like another person's interpretation of it, ask your parents for assistance. That is the beauty of a Home Study course. You get to take it from the convenience of your own home and take advantage of your parents' driving knowledge as well.
Each section is part of a syllabus or lesson plan, that is based on Driver Education, Traffic Safety, California Vehicle Code and DMV Drivers Handbook material, to establish the knowledge of the Rules-of-the-Road and the Driving Environment necessary to assist you in:
-
Passing the written test at the DMV to obtain your Provisional Instruction Permit.
-
To help prepare you with the knowledge necessary to begin to take Professional Driving Instructions from a Licensed Driving School, supplemented by practice with a California licensed adult driver 25 years of age or older.
-
And to start you on the road to becoming a Safe and Defensive licensed driver.
